Position Summary
The Vertical Market Manager is responsible for developing, leading, and executing business strategies within a specific vertical market (e.g., Residential & Commercial, Energy/Oil & Gas), and Industrial/Infrastructure). This role drives market penetration, revenue growth, and long-term customer relationships by identifying opportunities, managing key accounts, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver Sika solutions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Market Strategy & Development

  • Develop and implement the vertical market strategy in alignment with the country’s business plan.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, competitive landscape, customer needs, and emerging trends.
  • Define target segments and specify value propositions for each.
  • Build annual sales plans, KPI’s and budgets for the assigned vertical market.

2. Business Growth & Sales Excellence

  • Drive sales growth and increase market share within the assigned vertical market.
  • Drive profitable sales growth across all product lines relevant to the vertical market (Concrete, Waterproofing, Roofing, Flooring, Sealing & Bonding, Refurbishment)
  • Lead key customer negotiations, tenders, project specifications, and complex deals.
  • Develop project pipelines and ensure strong conversion rates.
  • In the future, be responsible for creating, expanding, and developing a professional sales team dedicated to the assigned Vertical Market.

3. Specification & Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with specifiers, consultants, architects, engineering firms, contractors, and key accounts.
  • Influence project specifications to ensure Sika products and systems are included.
  • Provide presentations, system proposals, and product demonstrations.

4. Product & System Expertise

  • Act as the technical and commercial expert for all Sika products and systems within the vertical market
  • Provide training for sales teams, distribution partners, and customers.
  • Coordinate with Product Management and R&D on system performance, new products, and market needs.

 

Your expertise - Our strength

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in sales, specification, technical solutions, or project management in construction or industrial sectors.
  • Experience working in an international company.
  • Knowledge of project specification processes, engineering standards, and building codes.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in business development and managing complex B2B customer relationships.

Language Skills

  • English – good level (spoken and written)
  • Russian – fluent
  • Uzbek – fluent

Computer Literacy

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar)
  • Ability to work with digital tools, market analytics, and reporting platforms
