Broad Function and Purpose of Position:   Work as a Sales Representative for Infrastructure covering multiples states under the direction of Regional Sales Manager - Infrastructure.  This person will be responsible to achieve sales and profit goals in the territory for Sika products region in the infrastructure segment.  The territory will cover Southeast PA, MD and Northern VA and the ideal candidate will be located in the Philadelphia, Northern DE or MD area. 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Increase product penetration/sales in your region by expanding customer base with specialist subcontractors and general contractors
  • Work independently and with inside sales to track DOT lettings and then team up with Commercial local sales team to close sales.
  • Work with DOT inside sales specialist to maintain and acquire necessary product approvals in all DOTs in the region.
  • Develop and maintain engineer and contractor personnel relationships assuring maximum coverage in sales territory.
  • Cultivate a broad Contractor Program thru evaluation, product education, application techniques for strategic markets.
  • Work to achieve a highly visual/leadership position in product positioning as the material representative for Infrastructure projects.  
  • Analyze and report business conditions i.e. new product needs, new trends within the territory and recommend actions to the manager consistent with sales goals.

Your expertise - Our strength

  • BS degree minimum with relevant experience a plus
  • Proven track record for construction chemical sales on Infrastructure Projects and relevant Distribution houses.
  • Capable of working with/for sales teams in different states to achieve desired goals.
  • Proven skills and traits to work in teams and foster relationships to achieve business targets.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or related field
  • Some overnight travel required.
