Key Responsibilities:

Category Performance Management

Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to evaluate the performance of core categories within the APAC region.

Develop strategies to drive category growth, increase market share, and meet revenue targets.

Identify opportunities for assortment optimization, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to enhance category performance.

New Product Launches

Lead the end-to-end process of launching new products within designated categories.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and supply chain to develop launch plans tailored to APAC requirements and ensure successful execution.

Conduct market research specific to APAC demographics to understand consumer needs, competitive landscape, and positioning strategies for new products.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Generate regular reports and dashboards to track category performance metrics, including sales, margins, and market share within the APAC region.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making in APAC markets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with regional sales and marketing teams to develop integrated category plans and promotional campaigns tailored to APAC market dynamics.

Partner with product development teams to provide regional insights and preferences for product innovation and portfolio expansion opportunities.

Your expertise - Our strength

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

A minimum of 5 years proven experience in category management, preferably within a retail environment or paint industry.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Strategic thinker with a strong sense for product/market fit and the ability to develop and execute innovative category strategies tailored to the APAC market.

Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools like BI.

Working Conditions:

  • No Visa Sponsorship is provided for this position. This position can be based in Singapore, Malaysia or Thailand. 
  • Travel within the APAC region is required.

As a Regional Category Manager within our APAC Distribution Business, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our product portfolio across the Asia-Pacific region. You will be responsible for overseeing the performance of core categories within Distribution business, as well as spearheading the launch of new products within the distribution channel. Your strategic insights and analytical skills will be crucial in optimizing category performance, support the countries in product positioning and maximizing profitability.
