  • Work effectively together with other team members to ensure maintenance and development of customer relationships which cross geographical boundaries.
  • Record daily activities in a timely fashion within the company Salesforce database.
  • Achieve agreed sales and contribution target / budget and promote Sika products to all potential customers in the designated territory.
  • The development of new business within respective area with the support of the Target Market Managers (TMMs), Specification Team & Technical Service Team.
  • The implementation of sales and marketing objectives for the respective area.
  • Provision of necessary customer, product & market information as directed by the superior / Head of Sales to enable the necessary regional support requirements to be realised.
  • Management and develop customer relationship of designated global & regional key account customers together with the Key Account Manager (KAM) & Key Project Manager (KPM).
  • Effectively respond to market conditions and customer requirements.
  • Provide the necessary sales and market input together with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM)/Branch Manager (BM) for the Annual Budget and the various corporate questionnaires submitted to Sika AP / Corporate;
  • Determine & implement regional/branch sales planning objectives together with the RSM/BM;
  • Communicate product requirements (MIN/MAX forecasts) to the RSM/BM and TMM to ensure the timely availability of product; and
  • Assist & execute market studies under the direction of the HoS / Marketing Manager.
  • Timely collection of all overdue monies from customer accounts.

Your expertise - Our strength

  • Preferably Diploma in any discipline or relevant experience
  • Degree in any discipline, preferably Civil Engineering; MBA, added advantageous
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a similar or related industry
  • Possess strong technical aptitude and able to work independently with minimal
  • Excellent computer skills including PowerPoint presentation and Excel spreadsheet applications;
  • Strong organizational and communication skills;
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment;
  • Able to travel when required;
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia; and
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin and local dialects would be an added

Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd currently employs more than 340 people in Sales & Marketing, Technical Service, Finance, HR & Administration, Laboratory, Production, Purchasing, Customer Service and Warehouse.
