  • Support the different Project Managers with the setup, management and controlling of the Projects.
  • Establish Project-Overview and Reporting (develop Project Dashboards and progress reporting
  • Monitor Projects and early alert in case of critical delays
  • Planning support for the Project Managers (Travelling, Meetings, Reporting etc)
  • Project Governance to uphold the company's standards throughout each project's development and execution.
  • Developing comprehensive project plans in collaboration with the respective Project Manager
  • Tracking the progress of each project.
  • Ensure that all Project Mgt. Staff uphold the company's standards throughout each project's development and execution.
  • Chasing Key-Stakeholders (internal staff as well as external consultants) of the Projects for their deliverables
  • Organizing of Project meetings, support with the creation of the Meeting Minutes and management of sub-sequent tasks
  • Define, setup and maintain comprehensive Project reporting based on Project plan adherence and further KPI’s. (Overarching Project Dashboards, specific Project reporting etc.)
  • Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
  • Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.

Your expertise - Our strength

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Business experience, ideally in business management, IT management
  • Leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex projects
  • Preferably five or more years of experience in handling of IT Projects
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
  • Good leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Deep understanding of production related Industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and use digital concepts and technologies

Sika was first established in Malaysia in 1989 and full operations commenced in 1991 through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd, with the completion of its local head office and production plant in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.  Since then, the company has gained a leading position in the country with the acceptance and endorsement of its products for construction and industrial applications by local and international proponents.

In Malaysia, our Industry Division is the clear market leader in the automotive glass replacement sector (AGR) and the “Sikaflex” brand is instantly recognized as a mark for quality, reliability and performance.  In the automotive OEM sector, we are the approved supplier to top German car markets such as Mercedes Benz and BMW.  Meanwhile, Sika leads the field in total bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing and protection solutions for bus, truck and rail vehicle manufacturing, and for the assembly of appliances, industrial equipment and building components.

Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd currently employs more than 340 people in Sales & Marketing, Technical Service, Finance, HR & Administration, Laboratory, Production, Purchasing, Customer Service and Warehouse.
