Purpose of the Role

There are three main customer types who are to be supported as part of this role, Homeowners, Installers and Stockists. Each have different needs but are linked together meaning this role requires good communication skills, the ability to present as well as excellent organisation skills.

Developing both existing and new targeted customers by implementing strategies that assist in delivering the required results in line with company targets, whilst maintaining compete records of activity and progress within our CRM system.  Success will be proven through results and customer feedback.

Homeowners – assist, qualify, collate & support enquiries which in turn are passed to the approved Roof Assured by Sika Installers.

Installers – assist with technical queries, product information, engage with leads and support the installer training programmes as required.

Stockists – assist with all product & information queries, proactively source new customers for each branch, engagement through all communication methods and host Roof Assured by Sika Open Mornings to promote the ranges and recruit new installers.

About Roof Assured by Sika – Roofing Distribution

The Roofing Distribution team services nationally the UK flat roofing market with a range of PVC single ply membranes, PU liquid-applied membranes, RBM reinforced bituminous membranes and additional Sealants, Primers & Adhesives via a network of Sika Stockists.

Roof Assured by Sika installer training is offered to support the correct installation of the systems in line with British Standards and industry guidelines. After which, homeowner/domestic lead opportunities are passed to the approved installer network.

The Opportunity:  

  • Increase the number of Roof Assured by Sika installers to achieve greater market penetration of the ranges which are purchased via Sika Stockists.
  • Strategically grow network of Sika Stockists to improve product availability for the approved Installers.
  • Increase the range of Sika products available within the Sika Stockists to achieve further growth.

The Support:

 

Sika has strong leadership commitment, a good track record for staff development through coaching, mentoring and the use of the Sika Business School programs as well as a supportive environment within which to work in your team.

Working alongside the Roofing Distribution National Sales Manager and the Midlands Business Development Manager you will be part of a team driving the Roofing Distribution in-direct offering forward strategically to complement the wider business.

Product training will be included as well as joint visits to aid your understanding of the business model, opportunities and needs of the market.

In addition, wider support is provided by multiple areas of Sika including Marketing, UK Distribution & Product Management

The Skills:

A highly motivated, organised and proactive individual is required to take ownership of their region and drive relationships and growth for Sika and its Stockists partners whilst supporting the Installers to aid their promotion of the Roof Assured by Sika flat roofing systems to the domestic/residential market.

Sika has a significant commitment to professional and personal development from day one, including a comprehensive local, product knowledge and leadership development initiatives complimented by a global Sika Business School offering.

The Future: 

The priority of the role being to drive growth within your region, however dependent upon success and growth of the in-direct Roofing Distribution model, regional or sales team management positions may be required in time.
